About Chris Amodeo
I am a sole practitioner who grew up in Oshawa and attended St. Gertrude’s elementary school before graduating from Paul Dwyer high school. I worked for a few summers with my father as a student at the Ministry of Finance before moving on and graduating from law school at the University of Victoria. After practicing as a criminal defence lawyer in British Columbia, I have returned to Oshawa and have practiced law in this jurisdiction since 2003.
As a sole practitioner, you will know that I will be the lawyer handling your matter thru every step of the process. You can also be assured that I will be fully focussed on your matter and trying to get you the result you seek. I will be dedicated to assisting you and will do so in an affordable manner.
Areas of Practice
I exclusively practice criminal law and quasi-criminal law matters. I provide a full range of services including bail hearings, crown pre-trials, judicial pre-trials, guilty pleas, sentencing hearings and trials. As a sole practitioner, I will be dedicated to your case because the outcome will have a direct impact not only on you, but on my reputation as well. I am also uniquely positioned to control overhead costs and therefore, am able to charge reasonable fees for my services. Sometimes, being able to afford the services of your lawyer for a longer period of time can make a big difference in the outcome of your case.
